DAVID DOUGLAS SCHOOL DISTRICTS

Pro bono work to support the communication identity for the Latin Heritage Month at the David Douglas School District. Okupa Septiembre aims to symbolizes diverse representation by temporarily changing the brand identity of the DDSD to honor its latin presence and force.

Inspired by the activities on Latino Identity ran by the school organizers the project, later named Okupa Septiembre, aims to highlight the individual experiences and collective union in a journey towards self and collective pride. The Latino Community at the David Douglas School Dristict owned the school identity through theLatin heritage month of 2021. The closing ceremony of the event was realized at the Mercado with performances from various latin artists and a LOT of great food!
